In some cases, certain trucks are difficult to customize because of the lack of aftermarket accessories that are designed for them. The Dodge Ram is one of those trucks. There are not many in the show scene that have been built up to this particular truck's level. Steve Bucaro from Palmdale, California seems to have found just the right style for his 1999 Dodge Ram Sport. This truck proves to the world that anyone can build a custom vehicle without limitations. As you can see, Steve also has a set of custom made Oasis 20 inch wheels for his wheelchair.

Steve started working on his truck after purchasing it in 1999 and hasn't stopped since. He had an air bag suspension installed and added some wheels to his truck but that wasn't enough. He took his truck over to IF Customs for some serious cutting, welding, and fabrication so he could tuck some large diameter wheels. After the air bag suspension was re-designed with two tanks and four compressors, the Dodge was able to lay frame on the 22 inch Oasis Titan wheels and Pirelli 295/30/22 tires. The bed was modified to fit the wheels and step notch, it was then sprayed by Line-X.

The exterior was smoothed out at AR Auto Body by shaving the front license plate holes, door handles, 3rd brake light, bed pockets, and body seams on the back of the cab. The truck was re-painted with the Factory Solar Yellow by AR Auto Body. A sunroof by ASC was installed. The grille and turn signal mirrors by Street Scene EQ and fuel door by Amp Research finish off the truck's exterior modifications.

Under the carbon fiber hood by Fiber Images, you can find Mopar performance valve covers from Hunter Dodge, a K&N Filter charger kit, a Jet performance chip, Nology spark plug wires, and Gibson headers & exhaust installed by Eastside Muffler.

In the cab, the door panels were re-designed by Professional Auto Sound & Security to house two sets of Kicker Resolution components. An enclosure was built and installed by Doug McDonald of Vision Installations to accommodate three 12 inch Kicker subwoofers, one Kicker ZR100 amp, and one Kicker ZR460 amp. Wiring by Tsunami was used to transfer power and sound to the audio system and three Optima Batteries were installed. The dash was upgraded with white face gauges from NU Image and a steering wheel styling ring by Grant Products. Interior and undercarriage lighting by Lite Glow was also added. The windows were flame-tinted by Mike's Tint Shop. The truck was also outfitted with a hand control from Wells Engberg and installed at Mac's Liftgate to make it possible for Steve to cruise his custom truck.

Steve would like to thank everyone who has helped him on this project including Meguiar's, X-Treme Medical, Oakley, The Car Wash, and Mechanix Wear.
