When you're a leader in the perfomance automotive industry, even your shop truck has to be a powerful yet eye-catching example of what your company is all about. This 2008 Chevrolet Silverado is a perfect showcase for Stillen and their crew. This Chevy's main purpose is not to scrape the pavement but that doesn't mean it can't do a little damage to some asphalt. It's a mix of style and power which was exhibited by Josh Biggers when he put his foot down to spin the tires briefly for us.

Beginning with the look of this Silverado, they added their Stillen Urethane Front Bumper Cover, Urethane Rockers, and Urethane Roll Pan. The grille was updated with gloss black Street Scene Speed Grille Inserts and an All Sales Billet Chevy Bowtie in the front as well as one to replace the rear logo. The truck was dropped off with L&G Enterprises for a coat of BASF R-M Carizzma Candy Apple Red over Green Gold. To finish off the exterior, a set of Anzo headlights and taillights were installed along with the bed receiving a spray-on Line-X Bedliner. The truck was lowered using a McGaughy’s Suspension 3-inch front and 5-inch rear lowering kit. The fender wells still needed to be filled with something other than the factory wheels so they added a set of KMC 24-inch Dime Wheels with Toyo Proxes S/T 295/35/24 Tires.

With the main part of the project finished, the interior was next on the list in order to get this truck to the SEMA Show. The seats were covered in a  Katzkin two tone leather kit with Stillen logo. The audio system received a host of Rockford Fosgate products including Punch Series component speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, and a wiring kit. The head unit was tossed out in favor of a Visteon VNMC-1000 Touchscreen Integrated Multimedia Receiver as well as an N-Fab rearview mirror camera system. Gold Star Audio completed the audio/video installation as well as building a custom subwoofer enclosure.

Getting down to what they know best, the crew at Stillen installed a Magnuson Products Radix Max MP 1900 TVS Supercharger and a Magnaflow Performance Stainless Steel dual side-exit exhaust system to really get this truck moving. On the other hand, once it gets moving it needs to stop right? The brakes were replaced with an AP Racing front 6-piston big brake kit and Mintex Xtreme high performance brake pads while the plumbing was all removed so they could install the Goodridge stainless steel brake lines.

The truck was debuted at the SEMA Show and Stillen received recognition from GM and their design team for their efforts.
