The last time we featured something from LPZ Inc, we were amazed at the creativity and complete change of styling cues that went into their widebody Dodge Ram. This project steps up both of those characteristics and adds a certain "wow" factor when you first approach the 2005 Ford F-150. The owner is Carlos "LOS" Lopez from Palmdale, California and he wanted his family ride to be noticed no matter where he went.

The Ford was brought closer to the streets of Southern California with a full air bag suspension by the crew at LPZ Inc. They installed air bags with half inch air lines, relocated shocks, and a multi-link rear suspension setup. This was all done with one goal in mind, to lay the body down comfortably over the 30-inch Forgiato Estremo 3-piece Wheels.

At first glance, you'll notice the severe changes to the look of this trucks body. Is it a new version of the Ford Raptor? No. It is a LPZ Inc. custom designed and fabricated wide body kit for the 04-11 F-150. This 22 piece kit includes 4-inches of extension on all four corners along with an LPZ Big Grill Kit with bumper, custom headlights, hood, and front fenders with fender grilles. The kit gets even more extensive with the addition of door extensions, rear fenders, one piece bed rail caps, cab lip with integrated HiTech LED brake lights and turn signals. Apart from the kit that is available the truck has had a traditional shave job all over removing anything that wasn't aesthetically pleasing to the new look. The front bumper received HiTech LED amber turn signals that where smoked and rear tail lights are also HiTech LED's.

The interior of of Carlos' Ford was purposefully thought out to be done in a minimalist manner since the exterior was done in the complete opposite fashion. LPZ wanted to show case the capabilities of making this vehicle extreme but still functional like it was from the factory. The front original flip down console was removed and sent to the back while the rear bench seat was cut down and re-shaped to feel and look like front buckets. The front was upgraded to a factory console with floor shifter and the inside of the cab was all covered in black leather and suede. Finishing it off is a full Rockford Fosgate audio system to enjoy wherever the truck goes.

Under the custom hood that LPZ built, you will find a K&N intake and new headers. The computer was also upgraded with a programmer as well. The rear end was re-geared to perform better with the massive wheels. Stopping this widebody beast is a full Saleen big brake kit. Future plans include a Supercharger so watch out for this truck if you think it may be a slow show winner and all-around cruiser.
