While cruising the streets of Southern California, the amount of lifted trucks that can be seen on a daily basis is overwhelming. Some are lifted a little, some are lifted to the sky. That is where it stops for a lot of these truck owners. There is not a significant amount of them driving around that are built for show. Jason Andre of Tustin, California owns this 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 and drives it daily to his job at HOT Motorsports. He also takes it to shows to display it as a marketing tool for the company that built it while he was in the showroom working at the front counter.

The Silverado was lifted at HOT Motorsports with a 12-inch Bulletproof Suspension lift and Fox racing shocks. It includes spindles, upper control arms, Atlas leaf springs, 2-inch torsion keys, and a 3-inch body lift. With a huge lift, the wheels had to be big and have some shine. The 20-inch wheels are 5-lug Gunner wheels from MB Off-road and they are wrapped in 41"x 12.5"/r 20 Super Swamper tires. Joe Conduff at HOT Motorsports custom built a bracket for the front differential and he custom extended the sway bar on Jason's ride. For show-quality shine, the driveshaft and rear differential cover were polished by Mag Masters.

With factory red already covering the body of Jason's Chevy, it already looked good lifted to the sky and covered in red. The front end was unbolted so that Precision billet grilles could occupy the stock grille opening and the bumper holes. The stock hood was replaced with a Reflections steel cowl hood that was painted to match. The door handles were also removed and Cadillac Escalade door handles with a polished grip took their place. A light pearl ghost flame now covers the front end, fenders, and doors after the truck was taken to Jeff Styles pin striping.

To match the exterior, the seats are covered in red and black Katzkin covers installed by HOT Motorsports. The dash bezel and center console top were painted silver to add some contrasting color to the black dash. The audio system keeps Jason from getting bored when he's driving around and the video system allows him to relax inside while at a show. The Premier head unit sends signal to the crystal components in the front and infinity components in the rear. An MTX Thunderform was installed in the rear and houses two 12-inch subwoofers. There are 3 four-channel amplifiers powering the entire system for great sound over the sometimes noisy off-road tires. The Digital Concepts monitor and DVD player are installed in a custom built enclosure that was placed between the dash and factory center console.

If there is one negative thing about lifting a truck to this height, it is the loss of power to the pavement. The factory motor was given a serious power boost from a Magna Charger supercharger. It also has Gibson headers and is running on a straight exhaust pipe with no muffler. Those upgrades have Jason's engine putting out about 450 hp.
