We are taking you on a tour of the AirBagIt.com Facility including parts making, machinery, research/development, powder coating, assembly, shipping, and more!
Started over 22 years ago, the company has been through many stages of growth over the years. Currently, the facility sits on 3-1/2 acres with over 100,000 square feet under one roof but also includes many storage containers outside of the building that keep other parts safe from the elements while they are stored for future use. It really was an impressive look inside a facility that ship over 600 parts daily!

On our tour, we began in the parts production area where 12 million dollars in equipment is running all day to cut metal for Air Bag Brackets, Spindles, Wheel Adapters, C-Notches, Control Arms, Door Hinges, and much more.
We moved through the shop with our cameras to the assembly area where workers were putting the air-engine plug & play system together as well as air struts, air management kits, and compressors laid out for final assembly and inspection.

The next area we visited included several vehicles being worked on including long-term projects, a full air-bagged Toyota Tacoma mini truck, and the lifted Chassis Tech Hummer H2.
We then walked through a large section of warehouse that houses bins full of coil springs and other products for many different vehicles. Just the size of this operation must be seen to be appreciated. We also briefly checked out the Research & Development area where parts are built using jigs that are custom-made to vehicle specifications to ensure best fit.
Our last stop was the shipping area where workers were getting packages into boxes after shooting a photo of each product before shipping. Yes, you read that correctly! Each product is cataloged before it is sent out and the images are kept to ensure the quality as well as the correct product was shipped to the customer. We were also notified that the customers credit card is never charged until the products are shipped.

On our way out, we took a look into their showroom at several displays including Rodney the Ratical Tops Rat, an Air Bag statue to show off many products, and several other items on display.
